It’s that time of the year again – the transfer window is now open until September 1 and it’s sure to be a busy period as clubs look to make big signings ahead of the new season.

Vicario jets in to Turin after Spurs strike £8.5m deal
Tottenham goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario is due in Turin today for his medical at Juventus after the clubs agreed a deal overnight.
Vicario will join on an initial loan with an option to buy at £8.5million.
The 29-year-old Italian has been on Juve’s list for some time and they reverted to him on Sunday after a move for Aston Villa’s Emiliano Martinez collapsed.
Villa are signing Zion Suzuki from Parma in a £30m deal. The Japan international is due to undergo his medical today also.

Sunderland set to confirm Methalie deal
Toulouse left-back Dayann Methalie arrived in the UK on Sunday ahead of his medical at Sunderland.
The France U21 international, a former target for Newcastle, is set to finalise his £25.7million move pending today’s tests.
Dedic in for Toon medical
Benfica right-back Amar Dedic arrived on Tyneside last night ahead of undergoing a medical at Newcastle.
Negotiations are at the final stages with a £29.5million deal in place for the 23-year-old.
The Bosnia international is likely to go straight into the team to play Liverpool next weekend.
Newcastle have also held talks with Bayern Munich over a move for Joao Palhinha but have other targets they are considering. Tottenham’s Lucas Bergvall is one of the names that remains on their radar in the final days of the window.
Nottingham Forest are also expected to make another offer for the Swede.
