Millwall of England attacker, Femi Azeez is facing a huge stumbling block in his spiration for a summer transfer to Hull City, as top brass at his Championship club are asking for a fixed fee of €20m before allowing him leave, Sports247 gathered.
In contrast with initial bright prospects that came his way at the beginning of this month, when a smooth switch from The Lions to The Tigers appeared on course for him, the Super Eagles’ rookie is now holding his tongue in his heart.

His chance of linking up with Nigerian compatriot, Semi Ajayi at the English Premier League newcomers is reportedly hanging on a thin string, after Milwall’s coach, Alex Neil admitted the team will not allow the multattto lad, who scored on his Nigeria debut, go for cheap.
Azeez will now seek a soft landing, following an open declaration by Neil that Milwall will do everything to reap bountifully from any transfer deal for the Nigerian attacker, who joined The Lions from Reading for just over £1m in 2024 and impressed in the Championship last season.
Neil told NewsAtDen, “Good players attract interest. It’s as simple as that. It’s no secret that in January, Femi had interest and bids made for him. (The club decided against) taking any bids for any of our key players.
“It allowed us to then go on and finish third. Femi was a fundamental part of that, but every player’s got their price. What I will say is that, if anybody is trying to undercut us or go cheap on it, then we don’t need to sell anybody. It puts us in a strong position in that sense.
“I’m surprised, honestly, that there’s not been a bit of an auction on Femi to this point. You buy goals and assists, and Femi has been as good as anybody in the last season or two at this level. Let’s see what the next few weeks bring.”
