Crunch time for the 2026 summer transfer window is almost here, with the biggest teams on the continent facing a race against time to finalise their business before Deadline Day.

A host of high-profile stars are yet to resolve their futures, such as Enzo Fernandez and Julian Alvarez, and a number of major deals are set to be announced every day during the final three weeks of the window.

So far this summer, Chelsea have spent the most money of any club in world football, with 11 signings arriving at Stamford Bridge for a combined price of €408 million. Morgan Rogers is the most expensive at over €135m, while they have addressed their lack of experience with the additions of Jordan Henderson and Danny Welbeck.

Roberto De Zerbi’s Tottenham Hotspur have also spent big this summer, with Sandro Tonali, Mateus Fernandes and Jan Paul van Hecke joining the club for over €260m combined, and Andy Robertson, Marcos Senesi and Martin Dubravka arriving on free transfers.

Spurs’ biggest rivals Arsenal have signed Bruno Guimaraes, Christos Tzolis, Piero Hincapie and Illan Meslier as they look to defend their Premier League crown in 2026-27, but they have missed out on Vinicius Junior. The Brazilian was on their radar, but he decided to sign a new contract at Real Madrid rather than complete a move to the Emirates Stadium.

Meanwhile, Liverpool have purchased Jeremy Jacquet and Victor Munoz on permanent deals, and they have also completed the surprising loan signing of Barcelona captain Ronald Araujo. They remain in talks over a deal for PSG winger Bradley Barcola.

Manchester United have signed Andrey Santos, Youri Tielemans, Karl Darlow and Tynan Thompson, however, they missed out on top target Elliot Anderson to arch-rivals Manchester City.

Enzo Maresca’s side paid a club-record fee of €135m to sign the England midfielder from Nottingham Forest, and they have also completed deals for youngsters Mathys Detourbet, Jeremy Monga and Pierce Charles. Detourbet and Charles have already left on loan.

In Europe, Real Madrid have signed Marc Cucurella, Denzel Dumfries, Ibrahima Konate, Bernardo Silva and Carlos Espi following Jose Mourinho’s return to the club, but they have missed out on Rodri, who looks set to join Barcelona.

Hansi Flick’s side have already signed Newcastle United forward Anthony Gordon, Borussia Dortmund forward Karim Adeyemi and Club Brugge attacker Jesse Bisiwu so far this summer, and they are now on the verge of finalising a deal for Rodri.

In Serie A, Juventus have purchased Randal Kolo Muani and Kerim Alajbegovic, John Stones has signed for Inter Milan on a Bosman deal, and AC Milan have spent a whopping €74m on new striker Goncalo Ramos.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich have signed Nathaniel Brown and Ismael Saibari, and PSG have added Maghnes Akliouche to their attack. They are close to signing Ferran Torres and Mika Godts, too.
