A tanker 9 nautical miles southeast of Oman’s Kumzar reported hearing two explosions while transiting the Strait of Hormuz on Wednesday, the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) agency said early on Thursday.
According to the UKMTO advisory, the vessel and its crew were reported safe, with no environmental damage indicated.Β
