Fox Sports host Charissa Thompson has revealed she is considering getting married herself – purely because of the ‘magical’ ceremony she witnessed when Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce tied the knot at Madison Square Garden.
Thompson, who is one of the stars of Fox’s NFL coverage, is a close friend of the superstar couple and was at the ‘wedding of the decade’ in New York last month.
Details are, of course, still sparse about what really happened inside the world’s most famous arena, but Thompson has admitted that she is now rethinking her own future with long-time boyfriend Steve Cundari.
Speaking to her co-host Erin Andrews, who was also in attendance, on their ‘Calm Down’ podcast, Thompson said: ‘It was magical, it was all the things… and this is the part where we say we’re not going to say too much because these weird headlines come.
‘It was a reminder to all of us – and maybe there is some subliminal part of seeing them get married that makes me want to have a version adjacent to marriage in the commitment ceremony – because watching them get married, I’m like, when you find your person, everything else in the world is right.
‘That night and that week was really a reminder that you can have everything in the world, but if you don’t have the person to share it with then it’s not worth anything.’

Details are still sparse about Taylor and Travis’ ‘magical’ wedding at Madison Square Garden
Thompson, 44, has twice been married before – first when she was 25 and then more recently to sports agent Kyle Thousand. They tied the knot in 2020 but separated after a year and divorced in 2022.
In recent years, she has been open about her desire to not get married for a third time – but it seems Swift and Kelce may have swayed her slightly.
In recent weeks and months, she has discussed the potential of having a commitment ceremony or an engagement party with marketing executive Cundari.
The pair were set up by LA Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford and his wife Kelly – something she previously revealed to the listeners of her podcast.
‘Matthew and Kelly were sick of me dating losers and they were like, “We have a great guy for you.” So they were the matchmakers,’ she explained.
‘It was vetted. I know the social security and the bank account now, so all is right.’

Thompson, meanwhile, will soon be back on America’s TV screens as the NFL season fast approaches.
For the 2026 season, she will once again be lead host for Amazon’s Thursday Night Football.
