The US is rethinking its ties and footprint in Kuwait following the war on Iran, The Wall Street Journal reported citing American officials.
While the newspaper indicates that the country has weathered recent Iranian attacks, it added that the conflict has underscored the Gulf country’s longstanding ties with Washington.
One official said that Iranian assault on American bases and infrastructure in the region has lead the Pentagon to reduce its presence in Kuwait to minimise risk.
