Mee reported earlier that a drone hit a US-owned gas storage tanker in Egypt.
Al Jazeera is reporting that the vessels involved have been safely relocated outside the port area.
“Local authorities responded promptly” after an explosion was reported at the Mediterranean port in Egypt, said port services firm Inchcape.
