Camavinga not in Mourinho’s plans

Jose Mourinho has bluntly told Eduardo Camavinga that he will struggle to get minutes at Real Madrid this season, Sergio Valentin states.

The France international has been linked with several Premier League clubs in recent weeks, but it is understood that Camavinga’s intention is to stay at Real Madrid. According to Valentin, that stance has not yet changed.

However, the club are actively looking to find suitors for the versatile midfielder. It is likely that Real Madrid need a major sale to be able to complete the proposed signings of Yan Diomande and Rodri.

Chelsea have joined the race to sign Barcelona defender Gerard Martin, CaughtOffside claims.

The Blues hold a “serious” interest in the Spaniard and are ready to rival AC Milan for his signature. The latter have already seen a €20 million offer for Martin rejected by Barcelona.

Milan are prepared to make an improved bid, believed to potentially be as high as €35m, but Barcelona will only sell under the right circumstances. Head coach Hansi Flick would prefer to keep Martin.

Emegha already axed?

According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea could part with Emmanuel Emegha before he has even played a competitive game for the club.

The Netherlands international was controversially signed from sister club Strasbourg last year, just weeks after he was made club captain, and he has officially joined Chelsea this summer.

But with the Blues now exploring a sensational deal for veteran Brighton forward Danny Welbeck, they are open to offers for Emegha. That said, Ben Jacobs understands that Chelsea would prefer to sell other strikers like Liam Delap, Marc Guiu and Nicolas Jackson.

PSG don’t want Rodri

PSG are not in the race to sign Man City midfielder Rodri, as per Sky Sports.

Reports in France claimed over the weekend that the Parisians had begun exploring a move after deeming Rodri a genuine market opportunity, despite initially not wanting to reshuffle their midfield. They have now decided not to proceed with their interest.

Real Madrid remain keen to sign the 30-year-old, and Mundo Deportivo asserts that sources at Los Blancos believe the PSG links were a ploy to artificially inflate the midfielder’s price.

Alajbegovic decision

Bayer Leverkusen are ready to reach agreements with both Chelsea and Juventus for Kerim Alajbegovic, according to BILD.

Despite Fabrizio Romano’s previous claim that Chelsea are looking to pay less than €40m, the German tabloid reiterates that the Blues’ fee could reach €40m with bonuses. That would be more lucrative for Leverkusen, with Juventus offering just over €35m after improving their bid.

It is believed that a club-to-club agreement with either side won’t be an issue. The thing that is now holding up a transfer is the player’s decision. The 18-year-old can freely choose between Juventus and Chelsea.

Previous reports from Italy and Bosnia and Herzegovina suggested that Alajbegovic was actually keen to join Atalanta and willing to wait for them. The Bergamo club have yet to match Leverkusen’s asking price, while Napoli have also shown an interest.
