Iran said six vessels attempted to pass through an unauthorised pathway in the Strait of Hormuz early on Monday, state media IRIB reported based on a source familiar with the matter.
According to the source, the vessels tried to cross the southern route of the vital waterway βillegally and unsafely” after switching off their navigation and positioning systems.
