Israeli forces conducted large-scale raids in Jenin and surrounding towns on Saturday morning, Wafa news agency is reporting, citing local sources.
According to the sources, Israeli troops stormed the city’s neighbourhoods of Jabal Abu Dhahir and Al-Marah as well as the towns and villages of Zababdeh, Faqqu’a, Ya’bad, Burqin, Jalbun, Qabatiya, Jalqamus, Silat al-Harithiya, Ya’mun, Kafr Dan, Deir Abu Da’if and Zububa.
Wafa reported that forces also raided housing where residents displaced from Jenin refugee camp had been sheltering.
Earlier, Al Jazeera reported that two Palestinians had been wounded in a fresh wave of Israeli military raids and settler attacks across the occupied West Bank overnight.
Israeli troops raided some 70 homes and detained around 50 Palestinians in the town of Tal, southwest of Nablus.
