- This morning, a group of armed Israeli settlers killed four Palestinians in the village of Tel, near Nablus, in the occupied West Bank.
- During the confrontation, a Palestinian seized a weapon from one of the settlers and opened fire, killing two Israeli settlers.
- An Israeli army investigation found that the settlers had entered an off-limits area, triggering the confrontation with Palestinian residents.
- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held talks with Defence Minister Israel Katz and army chief Eyal Zamir and ordered the army to demolish the home of the Palestinian accused of killing the two settlers.
- The army also decided to redeploy additional troops from Lebanon and Gaza to the occupied West Bank and launched an operation in Nablus, during which forces raided Nablus Speciality Hospital.
- Settlers also attacked other Palestinian communities in the occupied West Bank, including the town of Farata in Qalqilya governorate, wounding at least eight Palestinians.
