The Kuwaiti authorities are taking the necessary measures after the country’s border crossing with Iraq was repeatedly attacked by “hostile drones”, the army said on Thursday.
“The Armed Forces affirm their continued execution of their missions and duties with high efficiency, and their adoption of all necessary measures to protect the homeland’s borders and preserve its security and stability,” Saud Abdulaziz al-Otaibi, spokesman for the Ministry of Defence, said in a statement posted on X.
The attack caused material damage but no casualties.
