An old video of a young woman who was allegedly raped and later died has resurfaced online. In the video, the deceased, Favour Agbro (also referred to in some reports as the Delta rape victim), clearly says she wanted to remain a virgin until marriage. The sad incident happened in Asaba, Delta State, around early June 2026.
In the old video, the young lady spoke with confidence about her decision to keep herself until marriage. She explained that she wanted to do it only for love, not for money or any other reason. Reports say the 21-year-old girl travelled to Asaba on June 1, 2026, after a content creator known as Odogwu of Asaba invited her for a programme. Police say the man allegedly raped her in a hotel. The girl later went back home, felt very bad, took something poisonous and died. The suspect has been arrested by Delta State Police.
The resurfaced video has made many Nigerians angry and sad at the same time.
