Controversial Anambra preacher, Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, popularly known as Pastor Odumeje, has sparked reactions online after telling his congregation to sometimes borrow money from the bank to treat themselves to good food and enjoy life.
The popular cleric, who leads the Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry in Onitsha, made the statement during a recent church service. In a video that is now trending, Odumeje said:ѕєє тнє ν!∂єσ нєяє
“Sometimes, try to make yourself happy. Some people carry their pain to the grave. Go to the bank, borrow money, visit Mr Bigg’s or Crunchies, buy those expensive meals you’ve never tasted, and enjoy yourself. That way, when the bank starts asking for the money, you’ll have enough strength to explain to them. Not every time you borrow money to invest in the wrong business.”
