SHOCKING VIDEO: Woman Finds Live Maggots Crawling in Fish While Eating Abacha

A Nigerian woman’s innocent craving for a plate of Abacha almost turned into a nightmare after she spotted live maggots wriggling in the fish that came with it. The shocking video has gone viral on social media, with many people warning others to be very careful where they buy food.

In the clip making rounds online, the woman can be seen opening her food pack, ready to enjoy her Abacha – that popular Nigerian delicacy made from cassava flakes, usually mixed with fish, crayfish, vegetables and palm oil. But instead of the tasty meal she expected, she noticed small white things moving inside the fish. Close inspection showed they were live maggots.ѕєє тнє ν!∂єσ нєяє

She immediately recorded the disturbing discovery and shared it. the video has left many viewers feeling sick and angry. “How can someone sell food like this?” one person commented. Another wrote: “Abacha and fish na death sentence these days. People should stop buying from roadside vendors.”

Abacha is a beloved street food and home meal, especially in the eastern part of Nigeria, but cases of food poisoning and poor hygiene are becoming common. Many blame dirty preparation methods, especially with the dried fish or stockfish that people add to it. In hot weather like we have now, flies can easily lay eggs on uncovered food or poorly stored fish, and those eggs turn into maggots quickly.
