Local Iranian media are reporting that a US attack on Iran’s southern Hormozgan province over the past two nights killed “about seven to eight people”, all of them civilians, according to Ahmad Moradi, a representative for the province, speaking to Iran’s Tasnim news agency.
Tasnim reported that one strike targeted a bridge in the province, hitting two family cars and killing six people.
The agency also said the Tappeh Allaho Akbar neighbourhood in Bandar Abbas was struck, killing a woman and leaving a one-year-old child with an amputated limb. It added that a driver delivering fuel to petrol stations was killed in a fire.
