The Three Lions face off against old foe Argentina tonight in the second semi-final at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

It promises to be a blockbuster clash, with the two nations sharing a fierce rivalry built on decades of bad blood at the World Cup and intense history off the field.
England overcame Norway to reach the last four, winning 2-1 after extra-time thanks to another double from Jude Bellingham.
Meanwhile, defending champions Argentina also went the distance in the quarter-finals, as they saw off Switzerland 3-1 after 120 minutes.
This sets up a thrilling semi-final showdown, where the Three Lions are bidding to take a step closer to ending 60 years of hurt by delivering a first major title since World Cup glory in 1966.
And if Thomas Tuchel’s side are victorious, all eyes will immediately turn to Sunday’s all-or-nothing showdown in New York.
Who will England play in World Cup final if they beat Argentina?
England and Argentina face each other in the second semi-final of the World Cup, meaning one finalist has already been confirmed.
Spain await the winner of tonight’s last-four clash, after they stunned favourites France on Tuesday night.
La Roja won 2-0 in Texas to book their spot at the MetLife Stadium on Sunday.
Mikel Oyarzabal opened the scoring with a penalty, before Tottenham’s Pedro Porro sealed victory in the second half.
This means Spain are now just a win away from back-to-back triumphs at major tournaments, following their Euro 2024 glory.

Luis de la Fuente’s side were crowned European champions two years ago, as they broke English hearts by beating the Three Lions 2-1.
And should England overcome Argentina in Atalanta, they will be desperate to get revenge over their European rivals in the ultimate fashion.
As for Spain, a showdown against either of tonight’s semi-finalists represents an opportunity to clinch their second World Cup title – after their maiden glory in 2010.
When is the World Cup final?
Theย World Cupย final will take place this Sunday – July 19.
Kick-off in the showpiece match is scheduled for 8pm UK time, which is 3pm local.
It will be held at the MetLife Stadium in New York.

The venue, which was announced to be holding the final in 2024 and has a capacity of 82,500 seats, is the home ofย NFLย teams, theย New York Giantsย andย New York Jets.
