Bendel Insurance technical adviser Kennedy Boboye has challenged his players to raise their performance levels as the club targets a stronger finish than last term.
The Benin Arsenals ended the 2025/26 campaign in fifth position with 56 points, narrowly missing out on a top-three finish and a place in continental competition.
With the club setting a top-three finish as its minimum target for the new season, Boboye made it clear that his players must elevate their standards if they are to achieve that objective.
Boboye Lays Down Marker
The experienced tactician urged his squad to embrace the challenge and approach the new campaign with greater determination, consistency, and ambition.

”I welcome everyone back and thank God we are back without health issues. Work has started. No room for indiscipline. We must do better than we did last season,” Boboye was quoted by the NPFL official website.
” The process begins today. We are expecting some new faces in the next new days. So,we have to receive them as members of Insurance family and work together as a team.”
Repaying Management’s Support
He stressed that the players must repay the club’s commitment to meeting its financial obligations by delivering positive results on the pitch and producing improved performances throughout the season.
”Management has assured us of improved welfare, so we have no reason not to deliver this time. We owe them and the fans winnings and fine football,” Boboye said.
