NFL star Amon-Ra St Brown celebrated some major personal news this offseason after he popped the question to his longtime girlfriend.
The Detroit Lions wide receiver, 26, proposed to his high school sweetheart Brooklyn Adams, 26, this past week after a decade-long romance.
The All-Pro and Adams announced their engagement with 11 beautiful photos of the happy moment on social media on Tuesday with a short and sweet caption that read: ‘Hard Launch.’
The football player got down on one knee in a romantic setting with the photos showing him opening the ring box on the deck of a yacht.
The happy couple were surrounded by stunning bouquets of white orchids for the special moment, before Adams posed in front of block letter signs that spelled out ‘MRS.’
The new bride-to-be flashed her gigantic dazzling rock to the camera as the love birds posed for a cozy selfie.

The announcement was welcomed by a flood of well-wishes and congratulations from the NFL community.

Meanwhile, even the NFL’s own Instagram account celebrated the news, reposting the photos and writing: ‘Congratulations to @amonra_stbrown and @brooklynadams on their engagement.’
The proposal has been a long time coming with the couple’s love story dating back to their high school days.
St Brown and Adams first met in English class in Sophomore year of high school in Anaheim, California, around a decade ago.
They maintained a long-distance relationship for years while Adams attended nursing school in Orange County and he played in the NFL.
After Adams became a certified nurse in 2024, she relocated to Michigan to be with the football star, ending the long-distance nature of their relationship.

She has since pivoted away from nursing to head up St Brown’s non-profit organization.
Adams serves as the lead of the St. Brown Foundation, which focuses on youth literacy in Michigan.
Meanwhile, St Brown has been with the Lions for the entirety of his NFL career so far after the team selected him in the fourth round of the 2021 Draft.
He has since established himself as one of the league’s top receivers, which earned him a four-year, $120 million contract with $77 million guaranteed after the 2024 season.
