Tottenham have been active in the transfer window so far and show no signs of stopping soon, with an exciting forward at the top of their shortlist
Tottenham may have been handed a boost in their hopes of signing Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi this summer. The 20-year-old is a target for Spurs in the window as they continue their rebuild under Roberto De Zerbi.
As reported by football.london , Kroupi has emerged as a target for Spurs. There is, however, competition for the forward with Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain also showing an interest.
Bournemouth are expected to be reluctant to let one of their star players leave. They will reportedly place an £80million valuation on his head after the youngster bagged 13 Premier League goals last season.
However, their recent transfer activity may be a sign that they could be willing to soften their stance. BBC Sport reports that the Cherries have agreed a fee with Elche for striker Alvaro Rodriguez.

Bournemouth will pay a fee of £21.4 million, rising to £25.7 million for the striker. He has been taken to the club to provide competition for Evanilson and is a very similar profile of player to Kroupi, playing in the same position.
The potential arrival of Rodriguez could mean that Bournemouth are more willing to do business surrounding Kroupi, with a replacement already through the door at the Vitality Stadium. A big offer could therefore tempt the club to cash in.
Spurs have already shown this summer that they are not afraid to spend. On Thursday, the £85million move for midfielder Mateus Fernandes was confirmed.
Tottenham have also agreed a fee of up to £100 million with Newcastle for midfielder Sandro Tonali. De Zerbi’s side had already spent £52m to complete a deal for Brighton defender Jan Paul van Hecke.
As well as Kroupi, who is reported to be Tottenham’s top target, Spurs are also said to be showing an interest in both AC Milan’s Rafael Leao and Manchester City’s Savinho.
Alongside Fernandes and Van Hecke, Spurs have completed deals for Martin Dubravka, Marco Senesi and Andy Robertson.
Tottenham’s early business will please De Zerbi, who wanted players who would make an immediate impact at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
He also wanted deals completed quickly so he could work with arrivals during pre-season.
Thousands of Tottenham Hotspur fans upgraded their matchday last season. This is how they did it.
