Revealed: The first wedding Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce will attend as a married couple – next week!

It’s all systems go in New York as Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce prepare to celebrate their wedding with 1,000 guests in a transformed Madison Square Garden.

The streets around the iconic Manhattan venue have been closed off by police with America’s power couple celebrating with a rehearsal dinner on Thursday night before the big party starts on Friday.

And as their new life begins as newlyweds, it has been revealed that the happy couple will be following their own huge party by attending another wedding celebration for one of Kelce’s former Kansas City Chiefs teammates.

JuJu Smith-Schuster is marrying his fiancee Laura Kruk on July 11 in Orange County, California and according to TMZ, Kelce and his wife are going to be there to join the celebrations.

Kelce and Smith-Schuster are no longer teammates, with the wide receiver recently leaving Kelce and the Chiefs to sign for the New York Giants.

But he clearly made a lot of friends in Kansas City, with Kelce expected to be one of several Chiefs stars in attendance – including quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany.

Indeed, when Smith-Schuster’s move to the Giants was confirmed in early June, Kelce even took to social media to respond to the news, writing ‘NY, NY’ with three fire emojis on his ex-teammates post about the move.

Smith-Schuster won a Super Bowl alongside Kelce, back at the end of the 2023 season with the Chiefs beat the Philadelphia Eagles, who had Jason Kelce on their team.

After that victory, Smith-Schuster briefly joined the New England Patriots and Kelce was unhappy with the Chiefs letting him leave.

‘That hurt, man,’ Kelce said at the time on his New Heights podcast. ‘Another guy that came in and was really the leader of that wide receiver group for us last year.

‘For him to be a first-year guy on the team and kinda take the group and really just set the tone for work ethic and attention to detail and things like that for a lot of the young guys. Can’t say enough about what JuJu was for us last year.’

Smith-Schuster only spent a season in New England before returning to the Chiefs.

Precisely who Kelce has invited from the course of his storied NFL career – where he has won the Super Bowl three times – remains a secret beyond the obvious names but it would seem logical to conclude Smith-Schuster and his wife-to-be, Kruk, are in Manhattan for the big day.

The rehearsal on Thursday is smaller event with the couple’s closest friends attending before the guest list expands for the main event on Friday night.

And as the Daily Mail exclusively reported on Thursday night, there have been members of Kelce’s NFL friend-group left unhappy at not being invited to Thursday’s luxury event.

Whether any bruised egos make a big fuss though remains to be seen.

Kelce, for his part, appears to have a trick up his sleeve, too. He announced a surprise episode of his New Heights podcast for Friday morning with a mystery guest.

Fans speculated it could be Swift’s brother Austin or father Scott, only for one of the producers of the show to say on X that nobody had guessed correctly in the aftermath of the news.
