Former NRL player turned media commentator Cooper Johns been revealed he is in a relationship with AFLW star Poppy Boltz.
A photo of Johns, 26, and Boltz, 25 has been posted to the Giants player’s social media account.
‘That’s my mannnnnnnz,’ Boltz captioned the photo.
Johns has reciprocated by reposting the announcement on his story with the caption ‘hard launch’.
The former Melbourne Storm and Manly Sea Eagles player retired from the game in early 2024 after playing just 19 games in the top grade.
Boltz has made the move to the Giants for the upcoming AFLW season, with her having spent three years at the Brisbane Lions.

Fans have since taken to the comments of the AFLW player’s post to congratulate the new couple.
‘Coops is batting,’ one person said.
‘When being the class clown at school finally pays off,’ another added.
‘When the NRL and AFL come together,’ one more claimed.
Since Johns retired from the game, he has become a recognisable voice in the world of sports media.
He recently worked on the Kyle and Jackie O program, before it was disbanded following a large controversy.
Johns now works on 2GB’s Continuous Call Team as a panel member, and sideline NRL match commentator.
Boltz is regarded as one of the most talented AFLW rising stars.
