Everyone knows the sheds in rugby are a place where emotions run high after a game as players try to process what they have experienced on the field.
Players are often asked to give their immediate reactions just minutes after the final whistle has blown.
And it seems one particular journalist was able to really get under the skin of Spencer Leniu.
Pete Badel was confronted by the Roosters star in their changing room after their 24-18 win over the Broncos on Friday.
According to James Hooper, Leniu gave Badel a ‘gobl’ as soon as he saw him enter the changing room.
The story also appears to be that despite a serious mismatch in size and stature, ‘Bomber’ Badel refused to back down from the prop.

Leniu reportedly told Badel he wasn’t welcome in the Roosters changing room
Badel also according to reports, stood his ground and refused to leave the Roosters sheds despite the confrontation
‘Story that I heard about Spencer out of the Roosters and Broncos game Friday night,’ Hooper started.
‘So Bomber Badel, Pete Badel, he is a very good journo and he is a very good writer, he can write you a feature writer yarn or he can break news, that’s his real strong suit, his real forte.
‘He can also p**s people off right? He can rub people up the wrong way.
‘And he’s got a lot of front Bomber, I’ll give it to him, he’s 65 kilos soaking wet, but he’ll walk in and ‘hey mate how are you?’ and put the tape recorder right in front of someone’s snout.
‘So he’s gone into the Broncos’ sheds on Friday night and I don’t know what he’s done to Spencer, but Spencer saw him and fronted him and the way I’ve heard it given him a gobful.
Podcast co-host Brandon Strange later revealed that their confrontation could have been down to a story that Badel broke last season
‘And Bomber’s stood his ground and told him “beat it, I’m not copping s**t off you”‘
‘Spencer’s trying to kick him out, going “get out, you’re not welcome” all that sort of thing.
‘Apparently a few people even had to come in and go “listen” because as you know Spencer as we know can get the eyes rolling.’
‘Bomber’s let a little hand grenade off in the dressing room last Friday night, and has come out the other side.’
After Hooper’s story about Bomber and Spencer Leniu, co-host Brandon Strange revealed his own research.
It seems that their issues could date back to Bomber breaking the story of Leniu’s confrontation with Jonathan Thurston last season.
