Arsenal are set to wave goodbye to a significant number of their squad as their contracts come to an end.
Unlike last season, however, when several senior players departed at the end of their deals, there are none this time around. Thomas Partey and Kieran Tierney both left to join Villarreal and Celtic, respectively.
While Arsenal’s only loan signing of the season was Piero Hincapie. football.london understands that the club paid around £34.5million plus add-ons to make the move permanent, as per an agreement within the loan deal itself.

Both Neto and Raheem Sterling left at the end of their loans last season. The club did not pursue permanent deals with either.
However, a number of young talents are leaving at the end of their contracts with the club, with their deals expiring today (June 30). The club had already decided that eight players would not be renewed: Sam Chapman, Harrison Dudziak, Seb Ferdinand, Cam’ron Ismail, Will Lannin-Sweet, Josh Nichols, Samuel Onyekachukwu and Alexei Rojas-Fedorushchenko.
Nichols is the only player on the list to have made a senior appearance for the club. Starting in the 5-1 win over Bolton Wanderers in September 2024, but has not featured since.
Arsenal confirmed that both Aleksander Marciniak and Joshua Ogunnaike were in talks over new deals with the club; however, there has been no update on any potential agreement since. Both players will therefore leave with their fellow departing teammates, although the club could yet strike a new deal with the players ahead of other interested parties if an agreement is found in the coming weeks.
