A newborn baby has been found dead inside a bin liner that was dumped by a park in France.
A witness reported to police that they had seen someone leaving the bag on a path leading to the Parc de la Bergère, in Bobigny, Seine-Saint-Denis, shortly before 12.30pm today.
The person said they had seen the bag with blood and found a newborn baby inside, reported Le Parisien.
The Bobigny prosecutor’s office confirmed that an investigation had been opened for “murder of a minor under 15 and concealment of a body.”
A police source has reportedly said that a description of a suspect has been given and currently being sought.
