Israeli drones hit makeshift tents on Saturday in the al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, leading to the deaths of two Palestinians, including a young girl, Al Jazeera reports, citing medical sources.
The area had been designated as a “safe zone” under the terms of the ceasefire agreement with Israel.
Four others were injured in the attacks, and are receiving treatment in Nasser Hospital, one of the few left partially remaining in southern Gaza, the sources added.
