Spurs consider Fernandes bid
Tottenham are seriously considering making a bid for West Ham midfielder Mateus Fernandes, as per Sky Sports.
Man Utd are believed to be leading the race for the Portugal international, but Spurs could look to hijack the deal, with the North London club said to be willing to pay up to €100 million for him.
The Red Devils have so far been disciplined and refused to match West Ham’s asking price of over €90m, but they may have no choice but to take a more liberal approach if they want to sign Fernandes.
Bruno decides future
Man Utd captain Bruno Fernandes has decided to stay despite renewed Saudi interest, according to eSPORTY.
The Portugal star has informed those close to him that he intends to remain at Man Utd for at least one more season. Saudi suitors had hoped that he would be keen to move this summer, but this is not the case.
Several Saudi clubs attempted to sign Fernandes last year, while there has been latent interest since at least 2023. There was a chance of him leaving in 2025, but then-head coach Ruben Amorim convinced him to stay.
Tchouameni opportunity?
Man Utd could be handed an opportunity to sign Aurelien Tchouameni due to Real Madrid’s interest in Enzo Fernandez, The Athletic reports.
Los Blancos have made the Chelsea star their top midfield target, but they will likely have to offload a player in that position in order to sign him. Eduardo Camavinga is the preferred candidate, but he does not want to leave.
As a result, Real Madrid are open to offers for Tchouameni, who has been described as a “dream” target for Man Utd this summer. He would not come cheap, however.
Scott price revealed
Alex Scott could leave Bournemouth this summer if a fee of €70m were to be offered for him, the Daily Mail writes.
Man Utd are one of several Premier League heavyweights to have enquired about the England international, but Bournemouth would prefer to keep him for another season. The Cherries want to give Scott a new contract with a release clause.
However, because they are a selling club, a transfer this summer can’t be entirely ruled out. A fee of €70m could be enough to test Bournemouth’s resolve, which would potentially make Scott cheaper than some of the other options currently under consideration.
