Lucas Bergvall has told Tottenham Hotspur he wants to leave the club with Chelsea among the interested clubs, eSPORTY understands.
The Sweden midfielder, who joined the club in 2024, has five years remaining on his current contract after signing an extension in April last year.

But he has informed Spurs of his desire to pursue a new challenge this summer.
Spurs will be absent from European football next season following their 17th place finish in the league last term.
Bergvall made 33 appearances for the club across all competitions, scoring once and adding three assists.
Meanwhile, he has featured in both of Sweden’s matches so far at this summer’s World Cup.
Who could sign Bergvall?
As mentioned, Chelsea are currently monitoring Bergvall ahead of a potential swoop.
Aston Villa also remain interested after a failed move for the youngster in January.
Both Villa and Chelsea saw transfer enquiries for Bergvall rejected by Spurs earlier this year.
Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest view Bergvall as a potential replacement for Elliot Anderson.
Manchester City are closing in on the signing of the England midfielder.
After seeing a £121million bid rejected by Forest, City are now on the verge of completing the deal.

Bergvall joined Spurs from Djurgarden in his native Sweden in the summer of 2024 aged 18.
He had previously started his career in the academy at Brommapojkarna.
Since moving to the north London club, Bergvall has made a total of 78 first-team appearances.
As well as scoring twice and providing nine assists in that time, he was also part of the side which won the Europa League in 2025.

It has already been a busy summer for Roberto De Zerbi’s side since clinching Premier League survival on the final day of the season.
Andy Robertson and Marcos Senesi have both agreed to join the club on free transfers when their current contracts expire.

Meanwhile, Spurs have completed the £52million signing of defender Jan Paul van Hecke from Brighton.
Further new arrivals could still follow, with an opening offer for Newcastle’s Sandro Tonali turned down.
