The 2026 summer transfer window is officially open for clubs in the Premier League and a plethora of high-profile deals have already been announced ahead of next season.
The Serie A window doesn’t open until 29 June, while clubs in La Liga, Bundesliga and Ligue 1 will have to wait until 1 July to formally complete any transfers. However, despite this, several huge deals have been already been agreed across European football already.
Barcelona have completed the most expensive signing of the summer so far in Newcastle United winger Anthony Gordon, who cost a whopping €80 million, while El Clasico rivals Real Madrid have also been extremely active.
Los Blancos have paid €55m to sign Chelsea left-back Marc Cucurella, and finalised Bosman deals for Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva and Liverpool centre-back Ibrahima Konate. In addition, Inter Milan full-back Denzel Dumfries is set to arrive too.
Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur have signed Brighton & Hove Albion’s Jan Paul van Hecke for €60m, as well as Andrew Robertson and Marcos Senesi from Liverpool and Bournemouth respectively.
Liverpool have replaced Konate with Jeremy Jacquet, who agreed a €63.6m transfer over the winter, and Chelsea have welcomed Geovany Quenda, Denner, Dastan Satpaev and Emmanuel Emegha to Stamford Bridge.
The likes of Mohamed Salah, John Stones, Robert Lewandowski, Leon Goretzka and David Alaba are all available on free transfers this summer, while Elliot Anderson, Julian Alvarez and Morgan Rogers have been tipped to move clubs for over €100m.
