US President Donald Trump has claimed that 19 million barrels of oil exited the Strait of Hormuz on Monday.
In a post on his Truth Social account, he hailed the figure as “an all time RECORD”.
“Oil prices are tumbling down, and the world is a much safer place!” he added.
The figures have not yet been independently verified.
