Vance says US and Iranian negotiators remain in Switzerland for talks

US Vice President JD Vance says American and Iranian negotiators are continuing discussions in Switzerland despite his departure from the talks.

“We left a lot of our team. The Iranians left a lot of their team at the resort there to keep on working at it,” Vance told reporters before boarding Air Force Two for the return to the United States.

Vance did not identify which US officials would remain in Switzerland, but said negotiations on the details of the interim agreement with Iran were continuing ahead of the planned signing of a memorandum of understanding later this week.
