Caleb Yirenkyi’s stoppage time winner saw Ghana squeeze past Panama. Tuesday’s game will likely decide who tops the group and faces a third-placed team in the last 32.
Finishing second in the group means a trip to Toronto, with the Canadian authorities having rejected Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey’s visa application.
Partey stands trial over seven counts of rape and one count of sexual assault and has pleaded not guilty.
