Arsenal continue to be linked with a host of big names as the summer transfer window enters its second week.
The Gunners are yet to unveil a marquee signing, though developments are expected in the coming weeks. Manager Mikel Arteta and sporting director Andrea Berta completed a whopping six signings last July, suggesting they may currently be orchestrating multiple deals behind the scenes.
While the Premier League champions are unlikely to recruit another eight players this summer, any potential arrivals could be announced following the ongoing World Cup 2026.

Arteta has reportedly been allocated around £250million to strengthen his squad as they aim to retain their crown next season. He will also be eager to progress one step further in the Champions League and finally claim the trophy.

Arsenal prepare fresh bid
Arsenal are reportedly preparing an improved offer to sign Jeremy Monga from Leicester City. The Gunners are among several clubs, including Brentford and Newcastle, pursuing the talented winger.
There is, however, confidence that the 16-year-old is keen on a move to the Emirates Stadium, and the north Londoners are prepared to make another attempt to land his signature after an opening bid for the teenager was reportedly rejected.
The fee Arsenal are set to offer remains unclear, but The Mirror reports negotiations are expected to take place again shortly. Any transfer will be shelved until after July 10, when Monga turns 17 and will sign his first professional contract at the King Power Stadium, meaning the Foxes can receive a fee.
Monga made 30 appearances across all competitions for Leicester this season, accumulating over 1,000 minutes of senior football. However, following the club’s relegation to League One, he is expected to seek a fresh challenge ahead of next season.
Morgan Rogers transfer incentive
Arsenal have an extra incentive to complete the signing of Morgan Rogers early this summer. Arteta is understood to be a keen admirer of the Aston Villa star, with the 23-year-old potentially representing the marquee left-wing signing the English champions are so desperate to secure.
As if they required any further motivation to bring the England international to the Emirates, a recent announcement has only strengthened their resolve to get the deal done, beyond the usual advantages, such as pre-season tactics and fitness training. The Premier League have confirmed their fixture list for the 2026/27 campaign, with Arsenal set to visit Villa Park on the weekend of August 29 to take on Unai Emery’s men.
Following last season’s setback away from home, Arteta will be eager to have Rogers available for the clash, dealing a significant blow to Villa’s hopes of repeating their upset. Rogers is expected to cost in the region of £100m this summer, given he has five years remaining on his deal and ranks among the league’s most exciting prospects.
