Super Eagles head coach Éric Chelle has urged Nigeria’s U-20 team, the Flying Eagles, to remain focused as they step up preparations for next month’s WAFU B U-20 Championship in Côte d’Ivoire, reports Completesports.com.
Chelle delivered the message during a visit to the team at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja on Friday morning.
The Malian’s visit came shortly after the Flying Eagles recorded an emphatic 5-0 victory over Bussdor United in a preparatory friendly match.
The encounter formed part of the Flying Eagles’ build-up to the regional tournament.

Chelle Tasks Flying Eagles Players
Addressing the players, Chelle stressed the importance of discipline and commitment in their quest for success.
“If you want to succeed and go far in achieving your dreams, you must remain focused,” Chelle said.
“Secondly, listen attentively to your coaches. If you do these things, the sky will only be your starting point, and your chances of succeeding will be very high.”
In his remark, Flying Eagles head coach, Abdu Maikaba thanked the Super Eagles gaffer for the visit
, and further added the team is focused on having a good outing at the forthcoming regional tournament.
The Flying Eagles are expected to continue their preparations in the coming weeks ahead of the competition in Côte d’Ivoire.
