The Germany Under‑21 striker has caught the eye of several teams after making his debut for Club Brugge in the Belgian Pro League last season
Nicolo Tresoldi has addressed the transfer speculation linking him with Arsenal, calling the interest an ‘honour’ while admitting that ‘anything can happen’ this summer. The Gunners are looking to strengthen their forward line in the upcoming window, with investment expected particularly in the wide areas.
The striker, who caught the eye of Germany manager Julian Nagelsmann and came close to a World Cup call‑up, could be on the move despite only joining Club Brugge last summer. Back in April, Italian outlet TuttoMercato claimed Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta had opened discussions with Brugge over the youngster, but it remains to be seen whether a formal offer will follow now the transfer window is open.
Tresoldi has been asked about the interest from a host of clubs, particularly Arsenal. He told Bild : “I don’t know if that’s true [laughs]. But it’s nice to be linked with such clubs.

“It’s an honour for me, and it shows I’m on the right path. I want to keep working hard and win trophies. As for my future, I’m very relaxed.”
It’s claimed that several Bundesliga sides are also keeping tabs on the striker, though he admitted he’s enjoying life away from Germany. “Of course, but I also enjoy being abroad,” he added.
“After all, I was born and raised in Italy. I moved to Hannover at 13 and now I’m in Belgium. I like travelling and playing in different countries, so I can imagine anything and I’m open to everything.
“But right now, I’m happy at Brugge.”
At the Emirates Stadium, Gabriel Jesus could be one of the players moved on this window, with the Brazilian no longer guaranteed regular game time. Both Kai Havertz and Viktor Gyokeres are ahead of him in the pecking order.
Meanwhile, Tresoldi suggested that, as things stand, he expects to be a Brugge player next season – but also stressed that ‘anything can happen in the summer.’

Tresoldi, who had an impressive debut season at Club Brugge, scoring 23 goals in 58 appearances, has reportedly been valued at £26million.
Elsewhere, football.london understands that Bradley Barcola, Christos Tzolis and Morgan Rogers are among the players considered for a move to north London, and the club hold a genuine interest in them.
