Boxing icon Floyd Mayweather facing felony charges after allegedly using a bad check to buy $200,000 watch

Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather is facing two felony charges over allegations he tried to pay for a $200,000 watch with a bad check.

The 49-year-old American, who finished his career with a perfect 50-0 record, is alleged to have used a bogus check to purchase the Audemars Piguet watch at a Las Vegas store in December 2024.

The charges he is facing are theft and intent to defraud. The theft charge carries a potential jail sentence of up to 20 years if someone is found guilty.
