Despite dealing with his own personal issues after an arrest for DUI earlier this year, Tiger Woods has decided to focus on girlfriend Vanessa Trump as she battles cancer.
Woods has not taken to the course in some months after he was accused of driving while under the influence of drugs near his home in Jupiter, Florida.
But in recent days, after Vanessa’s shocking diagnosis, Woods has fully committed to focusing on her.
The 50-year-old ‘has been amazing during Vanessa’s recent diagnosis,’ a source told People Magazine. Woods has turned his full attention toward her battle after his own recent medical and legal issues.
Vanessa announced her diagnosis in mid-May, revealing that she is battling breast cancer.
‘Vanessa’s needs and issues have taken Tiger’s thoughts outside of his own legal, medical and personal struggles, which has been good for him,’ the insider told the outlet.

On Saturday, Vanessa revealed on Instagram that she has ‘been recovering from surgery’ and is now ‘starting the second stage of my treatment.’
A source in Florida told People the couple ‘are optimistic about her treatments.’
‘Like anyone diagnosed with this disease, she is anxious but also strong and eager to move beyond,’ the source added. ‘She is loved and receiving a great deal of support … With all of the advanced treatments and excellent healthcare facilities around her, Vanessa will continue to receive top-notch care.’
Trump’s post came a day after Woods was seen back in Florida after attending rehab in Switzerland. Woods chose to undergo treatment overseas after his car crash and DUI charge back in March.
On March 31, Woods pled not guilty to the charges and is nearly done with a planned three-month stint in rehab.
Sources told the outlet that Woods completed six weeks of treatment from April to early May before heading back stateside to support his girlfriend.
‘In order to return to golf, which he wants to do, Tiger needed to get a handle on the pain and injuries and other issues a 50-year-old has playing the game,’ a source told the outlet. ‘There are plenty of opportunities for him once he is ready to tackle it again.’
