Palestinian citizen of Israel announced dead in Israeli custody
The death of a Palestinian detainee, who is a citizen of Israel, was announced by the Israeli Prison Service on Sunday morning in Gilboa Prison.
The detainee was identified as 48 year-old Imad Sarhan. He spent over 24 years in Israeli detention and was subjected to several years in solitary confinement.
Sarhan is the latest in a string of over a hundred Palestinians who have died behind Israeli bars since the start of the genocidal campaign in Gaza.
