Francis Onyeka is set to join newly promoted Bundesliga club SV Elversberg on loan ahead of the 2026/27 season.
According to transfer expert, Florian Plettenberg, talks between his club Bayer Leverkusen, and SV Elversberg are at an advanced stage.
Onyeka On The Move Again
“Francis Onyeka is on the verge of joining SV Elversberg.
The 19 y/o forward is set to join the Bundesliga newcomers on loan from Bayer 04 Leverkusen. Talks between the clubs are in the final stages,” Plettenberg wrote on X.
The 19-year-old spent last season on loan at VfL Bochum in Bundesliga 2, where a string of impressive performances attracted interest from several clubs across Germany.

Onyeka scored eight goals and provided one assist in 30 league appearances, emerging as one of the most exciting young prospects in the division.
