Terrified passengers on a flight in Turkey were involved in a crash yesterday after the airliner they were travelling in struck a pole.
The Boeing 777’s right wing hit the radar mast while taxiing after landing causing the pole to collapse and strike the side of the aircraft.
The mast hit the body of the plane with such force that it smashed a hole in the fuselage and caused oxygen masks to deploy inside the cabin.
The accident took place on Turkish Airlines flight TK2430 at Antalya International Airport in Turkey yesterday.
The Boeing 777 had just arrived from Istanbul and was taxiing towards its parking position following a normal landing when it struck the mast.
