Players and officials of Rangers International have been rewarded by the Enugu State Government for their historic ninth NPFL title triumph, Completesports.com reports.
Rangers secured their ninth league title after winning the 2025/2026 NPFL season with 68 points, finishing ahead of second-placed Rivers United with one point difference, and eight points ahead of third-placed Shooting Stars SC.
A delighted Enugu State Governor, Dr. Peter Mbah subsequently announced a massive ₦150 million reward package for the players and officials of the Coal City Flying Antelopes for the great feat.
That was not all. Governor Mbah also gifted the players and officials with plots of land in Enugu.
Enugu Government Continues Tradition Of Honouring Champions
Completesports.com recalls that this is the second time in 10 years that Rangers have received cash and landed property rewards from the state government following a league title triumph.

In 2016, the then Enugu State Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, gave each player of the Flying Antelopes a plot of land after the club won the 2015/2016 NPFL title.
Governor Ugwuanyi also waived all land title processing fees for the victorious squad.
Title-Winning Squad To Receive Megabucks, Plots Of Land
A breakdown of Governor Peter Mbah’s reward package for the Coal City Flying Antelopes indicates that ₦100 million will be shared among the players, while the technical crew and backroom staff will share ₦50 million.

Governor Mbah also announced the allocation of a plot of land to every player who contributed to the club’s remarkable NPFL title-winning campaign.
In addition, all players and management staff are expected to receive their Certificates of Occupancy (C of O) from next week as part of the state government’s commitment to rewarding excellence and dedication.
