Israeli strikes on different locations in Gaza killed at least nine people and wounded 20 others, Palestinian health officials said on Sunday.
One strike hit next to a large tent encampment of displaced families in Khan Younis in the south of the enclave, killing five and wounding 16 others.
Later on Sunday, a separate Israeli air strike killed four people and wounded four others when it hit a vehicle driving through the middle of Gaza City.
The Israeli attacks come as mediators in Egypt begin new efforts to resucitate the US-brokered ceasefire between Hamas and Israel.
