The Israeli army says two of its soldiers have been killed in southern Lebanon, where its forces continue operations despite the heavy toll Israel’s attacks have inflicted on Lebanese towns and villages.
The military said one soldier died after suffering serious injuries in the area.
It said another soldier was killed during what it described as “an operational activity” in southern Lebanon.
The latest deaths take the number of Israeli soldiers killed in the latest war in Lebanon to 30.
