Hamas says Israel’s killing of seven-month-old Sam Fahd Abu Haikal exposes “the true face” of its “brutality” against Palestinians.
The Palestinian group said Israeli forces shot the baby near Hebron in the occupied West Bank, calling the killing as another example of the violence Palestinians face under occupation.
“We affirm that this crime reflects the criminal mentality that governs the behaviour of the occupation forces and their settlers, and the extent of their disregard for Palestinian blood and their contempt for the lives of our people,” Hamas said in a statement.
Hamas urged the international community to pressure Israel immediately to “stop its ongoing crimes” against Palestinians.
