The 2025/26 club season has finally reached its conclusion, but never fear, the World Cup is just around the corner.
As the United States, Canada and Mexico get ready to host the 48-team bonanza this summer, there are plenty of international friendlies to get stuck into on Sunday.
We have a trio of selections which make up our best bets of the day.

Mexico to beat Australia @ 3/5
Mexico will host 13 games at the World Cup this summer, with El Tri opening up the tournament against South Africa in less than two weeks’ time.
Javier Aguirre’s side have been in decent form over the previous few months, winning four of their last six fixtures, drawing the other two. A 2-0 win over fellow World Cup participants Ghana a few days ago will have bolstered their confidence.
Australia have won their last two games against Curacao and Cameroon, but suffered a 3-0 thrashing against Colombia when up against stronger opposition.
With the Mexicans aiming to get off to a good start in Group A, a win over Australia will put the nation in the best place possible for that to happen.

Both teams to score and final result a draw in USA vs Senegal @ 18/5
USA also ramp up their final preparations before the World Cup with a friendly against Senegal.
This will be the penultimate match for Mauricio Pochettino’s side and a decent result and performance will set the Stars and Stripes up nicely for the final friendly game against Germany in Chicago.
Despite losing their last two matches against Portugal and Belgium, USA will look to deliver a strong showing against the African side.
Senegal won against Gambia and Peru in March, but Pape Thiaw’s men will find things more difficult against the USA.
Not much separates both sides and the game has a draw written all over it.
Five of USA’s last six international friendlies have featured both teams scoring, while Senegal’s last game saw both teams finding the back of the net. As such, expect there to be chances at both ends in Charlotte.

Brazil to win both halves vs Panama, Japan -1 vs Iceland, Ecuador and Czech Republic to win @ 7/1
First up in this Acca of the day is Brazil to win both halves vs Panama. The pressure is on Carlo Ancelotti to lead Brazil to a first World Cup title in 24 years.
This friendly against fellow qualifiers Panama is a great opportunity for his side to score a few goals and build some momentum ahead of their opener against Morocco.
In their last game vs Croatia, Brazil led 1-0 at the break, with the final score ending 3-1 to Ancelotti’s side.
Leg two features Japan, as they take on Iceland. The Asian side are considered a potential dark horse in North America this summer and they can flex their muscles against Iceland in Tokyo.
Japan have won five successive matches, two of those by two goals. Expect something similar on Sunday.
Ecuador take on Saudi Arabia in their penultimate match before the World Cup. Remarkably, the South Americans haven’t lost since a 1-0 defeat to Brazil in September 2024.
Six wins and 11 draws have followed, making them big favourites against Saudi Arabia.
Finally, the Czech Republic are set to take part in their first World Cup for 20 years and they will still be on a high after coming through two play-off penalty shootouts to reach the tournament.
Kosovo are the opponents on Sunday. Despite a decent qualification campaign, Kosovo missed out and this friendly is merely an afterthought. With that in mind, Miroslav Koubek’s men should ease to victory.
