The Israeli army warned that it expects an escalation in fire from Lebanon towards northern Israel, amid its expansion of military operations in southern Lebanon, Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported.
Sirencs sounded in several northern Israeli communities as the army attempted to intercept a drone launched from Lebanon, it added.
