Arsenal have earned huge transfer-boosting funds from their Premier League title and UEFA Champions League run
Arsenal have been crowned Premier League champions, and with that comes the added financial benefit of finishing first for the first time since 2004. Prize money has increased considerably since then as the sport has grown, and the Premier League in particular has exploded in popularity.
Arsenal are due to receive £198.7million in prize money this season, £6.2million more than second-place Manchester City. 20th place Wolves still receive £117.7million despite having one of the poorest campaigns, in addition to any parachute payments coming courtesy of relegation.
The Gunners’ bitter rivals, Tottenham Hotspur, will receive £62.9million less than Arsenal after a second successive 17th-place finish in the league table. This money can be used to strengthen the respective sides for next season of which Arsenal have several areas of interest to invest.

However, there is more because of their participation in Saturday’s UEFA Champions League final. After they knocked Atletico Madrid out of the competition in the semi-final, the club banked an extra £15.97million, and can add another £5.61million if they win the final over PSG.
They have already therefore claimed £125.18million this season in Europe. This takes their overall haul in the Premier League and Champions League to well over £300million.
