Lebanon’s Health Ministry says Israeli attacks on the south have killed two people, including a paramedic, and wounded at least 10 others.
In a statement, the Health Emergency Operations Centre said “successive raids by the Israeli enemy on the town of Arab Salim in the Nabatieh district resulted in two martyrs, including a paramedic in the Health Authority, and ten wounded, including two paramedics in the Authority and four paramedics in the Al-Risala Association.”
The ministry said the strikes hit the area in quick succession, causing multiple casualties among both civilians and emergency responders.
Earlier, an Israeli air strike destroyed a Civil Defence centre in the city of Nabatieh. Officials said the building was empty of paramedics at the time of the attack.
