Hezbollah claims 28 attacks on Israeli forces in south Lebanon

Lebanon’s Hezbollah says it carried out 28 separate operations against Israeli forces in southern Lebanon on Sunday.

In a statement, the group said it used rockets, artillery fire and attack drones to target Israeli troops and positions across the region.

Hezbollah said its attacks concentrated heavily on the town of Biyyada, where it struck what it described as Israeli troop gatherings, soldiers inside residential buildings, military equipment and a newly established command centre in repeated operations.

The group added that it also targeted Israeli troop clusters and vehicles near the Deir Siryan River, alongside positions in Rashaf, al-Quzah and Naqoura, as well as a newly set-up site at Nimr al-Jamel.
