US President Donald Trump said in a post to Truth Social that “an Agreement has largely been negotiated” with Iran and details currently being discussed will be “announced shortly”.
“In addition to many other elements of the Agreement, the Strait of Hormuz will be opened,” he added.
The statement was released following separate calls with regional leaders of several Muslim-majority countries and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
